Baseball Star Moves Mom to Tears When He Pays off Parents' Loans & Debts for Christmas

Share

Anyone who grew up with supportive parents knows what an impact that can have on your future. Many a successful man or woman has given credit to their parents for getting where they are today.

One such success is Brady Singer. What this young man has achieved at such a young age is truly inspiring to any Little Leaguer with Major League dreams.

The 18th overall pick in the 2018 MLB draft, Singer is a pitcher that Kansas City Royals scouting director Lonnie Goldberg said locals will “come to the ballpark to see,” according to Kansas City Star.

The up and coming baseball star hasn’t forgotten his roots, though. In a heartwarming video Singer shared to his Instagram account on Christmas, his parents can be seen opening a letter from their son.

“Dear, Mom and Dad,” the letter begins, “I just want to say thank you for everything you’ve done to help me reach my dreams.”

From the first words it’s clear his mom is already holding back tears. His dad listens intently, seemingly choked up himself.

“There’s absolutely no way I could have done all of this by myself,” Singer’s letter goes on. “Both of you constantly took off of work and spent every dime you made just to put a smile on my face.”

“I can’t thank them enough,” Singer wrote on Instagram. “Love you, Mom and Dad.” Any parent reading this would be overcome with joy.

And now the time has come for the MVP hopeful to put an even bigger smile on his parents’ faces. Watch as he surprises them with the most amazing gift ever!

This grateful young man paid off all of his parents’ loans and debt. What a way to say thank you for all the years they spent helping him reach his dreams of playing in the major leagues.

“Your giving hearts helped to shape my tiny dream into a reality. I love you both more than you could ever imagine.”

We wish these two all the best as they hopefully will now get to fulfill some of their own dreams. But I have a feeling raising a good man like Brady is all they’ve ever wanted.
