Wedding Photographer Asks Husband To Tell Wife Why He Married Her, Bride Breaks Down in Tears

Share

There is something to be said for true love in this day and age. I mean the kind that warms your heart and brings tears to your eyes.

I’m a crier. Everyone knows I cry at everything from Disney movies to Chick-fil-A commercials.

But even I know the difference between a TV ad tear and sobs that break forth due to something beyond priceless. Some of life’s moments are just so sweet, we wish we’d been quick enough to capture them on film.

Yet, in the moment, we can’t bring ourselves to watch from behind the lens of a camera. Or maybe we do, but we fumble, flustered, and the once-in-a-lifetime moment is gone.

There are rare times in our lives we do think to hire someone to do the capturing for us. Usually a wedding or a birth or some significant event we already know we’ll want to cherish forever.

I know my wedding was one such day. Thank goodness my amazing photographer was there so I could simply breathe in what was happening.

But not all photographers are created equal. One photographer known as James Day, for example, has taken the internet by storm with his emotional wedding photos.

This photographer seems to know just what to say when it comes to turning his clients into an emotional mess — in a good way. He’s shared more than one occasion where a bride, groom, father, or other family member broke down from all the love that surrounded them.

“A photographer that I look up to named Jesh De Rox once said to me that to move others you have to first be moved yourself,” Day said in an interview. And Day definitely appears to know how to move his clients.

One happy couple recently posed for a sunset photo. As Day looked on, he knew something just wasn’t working.

“Guys, stop posing,” Day told them. “Just enjoy your first sunset together as husband and wife”.

Once they relaxed in each other’s arms, Day continued with a thought for the groom, Adrian. “I have a question for you,” Day said, “but I want you to tell the answer to Roslyn and not me.”

“Out of the billions of people on the planet, you’ve chosen to spend the rest of your life with Roslyn. Can you tell her why?”

Adrian did. And the result is stunning.

“Oh Love, you are oh so precious,” Day posted on Facebook while recalling the moment between Roslyn and Adrian. One look at this photo, and it’s clear Day is right.

A famous singer once said, “Love is a many splendored thing.” If James Day continues to capture moments like the one between Adrian and Roslyn, I’d said love is oh so much more indeed.
