As Media Savages Kavanaugh, Ellison Ex Quietly Posts Med Records Alleging Abuse

Remember when evidence determined whether or not someone was being excoriated in the media over allegations of impropriety? Yeah, me neither.

As the media rakes Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh over the coals for two accusations in which the accusers can produce no evidence that the event actually happened, one of the women accusing Democrat Rep. Keith Ellison of domestic abuse just posted her medical records online.

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Karen Monahan, the former girlfriend of the Minnesota representative — who is aspiring to be Minnesota’s chief law enforcement officer — has been posting patient reports detailing patient progress from the injuries she allegedly received from Ellison.

Monahan has claimed Ellison, who is currently the Democrat candidate for attorney general in the Gopher State and came second to Tom Perez in the DNC leadership election back in 2017, beat her back in 2016.

“Here is one of my Dr visits stating the abuse that occurred. It amazes me the measures people have to take for their humanity to be validated. #metoo,” Monahan said in a Twitter post.

The patient report Monahan posted is unambiguous.

“She did not have any physical injuries that required a physical examination in the past. She identifies the individual she was involved with as congressmen (sic) Ellison, and she is worried about retribution if she identifies him publicly,” the patient progress report states.

You would think that the allegations against Ellison — Monahan is the second woman to come forward and claim that the congressman abused her — would be met with outrage by the people who demand women be believed, particularly given the evidence includes medical reports and a 911 call.

But apparently, only conservatives believe it’s worth attention.

As this video taken by The Daily Caller proves, liberals have other causes to fight for.

And, as the Star-Tribune notes, Minnesota voters aren’t necessarily turning against Ellison yet.

“In a previous interview, Ellison called the allegation personal, painful and untrue. It remains unclear what impact Monahan’s story will have on voters’ decision in the November election. Ellison, a Democrat, is running against Republican Doug Wardlow,” the Star-Tribune reported.

Do you think that Keith Ellison should step away from the attorney general race in Minnesota?

“A Star Tribune/MPR News Minnesota Poll conducted last week included a question about whether people believe Ellison committed the domestic violence Monahan has alleged. The majority of participants, 57 percent, said they were unsure while 21 percent believed it and 22 percent did not.”

But I thought women should be believed — particularly when they have evidence.

Apparently not, when you look at poll numbers. A full 41 percent still support Rep. Ellison while 36 percent back Wardlow, according to a poll released by the Star-Tribune last week.

I guess that all only applies when it’s a Republican, huh?

If the Democrats and media are to have any credibility on this, they need to demand Ellison step down from the race, even at this late hour. They won’t. That proves just how bankrupt their arguments and innuendoes in the Kavanaugh matter are.
