Reporter Unexpectedly Catches Border Patrol in Action, Illegal Immigrants Shut Down on Live TV

Share

The situation at the United States’ southern border is a lot more serious than many on the left are willing to admit — and a live broadcast from Texas just proved it.

During the early morning hours on Friday, Fox News reporter Griff Jenkins and his camera crew captured eye-opening footage that showed Central American aliens being apprehended by the Border Patrol in real time.

“Jenkins followed Border Patrol agents deep into a brushy area near McAllen, Texas, where agents apprehended three men in their 20s,” Fox News reported. “All were coming from El Salvador or Guatemala originally.”

“A canine assisted the agents to find the men hiding in the brush before the sun rose. Jenkins said the illegal crossers will be prosecuted by ICE, unlike family units who seek asylum,” the report continued.

Illegal activity at the border is rampant. The Fox journalist explained that Border Patrol officers in the area had caught multiple groups of people trying to cross into the United States in just the past several hours that he had been embedded with the authorities.

“Literally in 90 minutes we’ve chased what is now four groups. According to the agents here, as many as 75 to 100 illegal aliens are actively trying to cross into the United States at this very moment,” Jenkins said.

The compelling footage comes at a time that many eyes are on Mexico … and more specifically, on its own southern border.

There, a horde of migrants are making their way from places like Honduras and Guatemala, on a dangerous and often illegal trek to reach the United States.

Do you support stronger border enforcement in places like Texas?

Video from Mexico’s frontier zone with Guatemala was just as stunning as the Fox footage. There, a mass of immigrants attacked Mexican police officers before storming through fences and illegally spilling over into America’s southern neighbor.

The true number of illegal immigrants who enter the United States every year is unknown, but experts have been able to make some very sobering estimates.

“Researchers found that the accepted number of undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. — 11.3 million — may be extremely low,” we reported in September. “The actual number of aliens in America could be twice that amount.”

“Researchers estimate there are 22.1 million undocumented immigrants in the United States,” Yale Insights reported.

The illegal immigrant population has grown dramatically since 1990, and that’s before even considering the million-plus legal immigrants who are granted entry into America every year.

Videos like the ones captured in Texas or the Mexico-Guatemala border confirm what many conservatives have long known: The migrant problem is serious, yet has been swept under the rug by presidents from both parties for far too long.

There is a major difference between controlled, legal immigration by people who respect our nation’s laws, and lawless, horde-like behavior from masses who smash barriers and harass police.

We may be reaching a boiling point, and it’s time for the American people to finally see what is truly happening.
