Son Thinks He Can Sneak Past Mom's Doorbell Camera After Coming Home Late, Fails Miserably

Share

Since the dawn of the doorbell camera, social media has brought us some hilarious videos revealing footage you won’t see anywhere else but from the front porch.

While the technology of a security camera is not new, the ability to keep an eye on your home from your phone or device, no matter where you are, is certainly a step up from your parents’ security systems.

We’ve watched as porch pirates were beaten at their own game. When attempting to swipe a package, some of them found a glitter bomb instead.

We have witnessed moments when doorbell cams caught some serious kindness — like the postal worker who wanted to make sure a package didn’t get stolen.

Yes, doorbell cams provide a lot of practical services and an extra cushion of protection, but we can’t deny they also provide a fair amount of entertainment as well.

Take, for example, the little boy who couldn’t figure out how to turn the TV to the kid’s channel.

It was hero dad on the other side of the camera who came to the rescue (or at least tried!).

I don’t know what’s more side-splitting — the fact that this kid clearly knows how to make his dad laugh, or hearing his dad laugh along with who we can assume are his co-workers.

Of course, kids aren’t the only ones taking advantage of this popular addition to the front door. Some adults get a kick out of it too.

Like this guy who felt it was his mission to make the most of the opportunity the doorbell cam brought to his home.

You have to wonder what his wife’s expression looked like during this moment.

Just wow. There are no words. Do you think his wife regretted installing the doorbell camera after all? Or perhaps she has a sense of humor and found a way to get him back.

One also has to wonder what one mom’s reaction was after she viewed this video of her son sneaking home at night.

Watch as the guy slinks across the porch, all the while seeming to believe he is out of the camera’s view. Spoiler alert — he was sorely mistaken.

And there you have it — perhaps the most epic fail at sneaking ever. I don’t know who this guy is, but I do hope his mom gave him points for creativity… or humor.

Do you have a doorbell cam installed at home? If you haven’t experienced anything like what happened in these videos, you may want to consider getting your own as a source of security and amusement.
