Vance Holds Jefferson's and Madison's View: Freedom of Religion is Based on Christianity, He Tells TPUSA Crowd

Vice President J.D. Vance filled in for Charlie Kirk at a Turning Point USA event Wednesday night at the University of Mississippi in Oxford and gave a great response to a student on the issue of freedom of religion.

In fact, both Thomas Jefferson and James Madison would no doubt be in full agreement.

One of the earliest questions to Vance was from a young man who said, “I feel as if requiring Christianity in public schools goes against the Founding Fathers’ wish of freedom of religion. What do you think about that?”
