Watch: Road-Raging Punk Goes After 2 Girls, Suddenly Meets His Worst Nightmare - a Pro Muay Thai Fighter With a Knockout Record
You never know who you’re going to encounter in a road rage incident. It could even be a professional fighter with four knockouts on his record.
A highway in Queensland, Australia, was the scene for one unlucky angry driver after he got out of his vehicle only to find a professional Muay Thai fighter confronting him. The fighter stepped in, leaving his vehicle after seeing the driver confront two women driving by themselves.
7News reported that 19-year-old Ryan McDonald wanted to assist the women after witnessing the incident while driving home from a camping trip with some friends. McDonald said he saw one of the women try to merge several times, but the man, driving a white van, would not let her.
When the two vehicles came upon a traffic stop, the van’s driver exited, angrily pulling at the driver’s side door of the other vehicle.
The outlet interviewed McDonald about the confrontation, video of which was posted on social media platform Instagram.

“He jumped out of the car in the middle of the highway, and there are these two girls on their own in the car,” the fighter said.
“I was thinking this would be a good opportunity to help, to use what I know and help these girls, and to try and de-escalate the situation.”
Dashcam footage showed McDonald talking with the man, who proceeded to take his shirt off to intimidate him.
Hilariously, McDonald also took his shirt off, mocking the raging driver for trying to be tough.
“The man instantly tried to start a fight. I told him ‘get back in your van’ … and he took his shirt off,” McDonald told 7News.
“The guy said, ‘You sure you want this?’ and I said, ‘Yeah, yeah I do.’ He said I didn’t know who I was messing with.”
The man wisely chose to walk away after another driver told him McDonald was a professional.
He “fooled around,” and subsequently “found out.”
The women are fortunate McDonald was there.
Guest Lawyers, an Australia-based law firm, notes how strict gun laws are in the country. In Queensland, where the incident occurred, it is illegal to carry a gun or any weapon while out in public.
The firm says even carrying a replica gun can come with penalties.
Were these women armed, but alone, the driver would still be thinking twice.
Heroes like McDonald will not always be around, but thankfully he was this time.
