Meet the Literally Godless 'Pro-Extinctionists' Who Want to Exterminate Human Life Everywhere

A small but vocal online movement is openly calling for the extinction of all conscious life, including every human being on Earth.

The group behind proextinction.com describes itself as fully rational, empathetic, atheistic, logical, and fair. Its stated mission is “preventing as much suffering as physically possible, without tradeoffs.”

According to the site’s manifesto, existence itself is the problem. The only logical solution, it argues, is non-existence — a “deep, dreamless sleep” free from anxiety, disease, natural disasters and predation.
