Kavanaugh Protesters Star in Powerful New RNC Ad: 'The Left Is Crazytown'

Share

The Republican National Committee isn’t wasting any time.

A new RNC campaign ad stars the left-wing protesters who are trying to create  chaos during Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings this week. The ad also stars the Democrats in office who enable the disruptive and unruly demonstrators.

On Wednesday, protesters in the audience during Kavanaugh’s interrupted several times after Kavanaugh was asked by Democratic Senator Kamala Harris if he had spoken about special counsel Robert Mueller and his probe of the Trump White House with anyone at Kasowitz Benson Torres, the law firm founded by a former personal attorney to President Donald Trump.

Republican Sen. Mike Lee pointed out how ridiculous the question was.

Lee said “this town is full of law firms” and that they “are constantly metastasizing, they break off, they form new firms — they’re like rabbits. There’s no possible way we can expect this witness to know who populates an entire firm,” according to Fox News.

The protesters proceeded to erupt into chants of “Answer the question”  and other slogans. They were eventually removed.

In total, 73 of the disorderly protesters were arrested and charged for unlawful demonstrations including 66 people who were removed from the hearing room during the day, according to Fox.

This behavior from the left is not surprising, considering the comments from left-wing politicians as seen in the RNC’s ad.

Do you agree that "The Left is Crazytown?

Democrat Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey is shown, urging a crowd of liberals: “Please, get up in the face of some congresspeople.”

California  Rep. Maxine Waters also encouraged disruptive behavior. She suggested creating crowds around members of the Trump administration who happen to be out shopping or filling their car with gas.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd,” Waters said in an infamous video.

Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Tom Perez is also featured in the ad, saying Republican leaders “don’t give a s–t.”

The ad also featured Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi wondering why “there aren’t uprisings all over the country.”

Based on these statements from Democratic leadership, it should not be a surprise to anybody that 73 protesters had to be arrested during Kavanaugh’s hearing.

Crowding around someone in public and getting in their face should not be encouraged as a legitimate way to have political discourse. Disrupting a confirmation hearing should not be acceptable either.

The RNC ad said it best: “The Left is Crazytown.”
