Attorney Shares 10 Red Flags About Sex Assault Claims. Ford Matches All 10.

An employment attorney shared 10 red flags about sexual assault claims and the flags completely overlap with the accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Over the past two weeks, the accusations made by California professor Christine Ford against Kavanaugh have been thoroughly unpacked, and we are to pick up on the red flags in her claims.

Adam Mill, an attorney based in Missouri, created a list of 10 red flags about sexual assault claims that was published by The Federalist.

The first red flag Mill identified is “the accuser uses the press instead of the process.”

This is true for Ford’s accusations. She first brought her accusations to the attention of Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein in a letter and then publicly came forward in a piece published by The Washington Post.

The timing of the accusation also falls under the red flags of “the accuser times releasing the accusation for an advantage” and “when the accuser’s ability to identify the accused has not been properly explained.”

“It’s a flag when the accusation is held like a trump card until an opportunity arises to leverage the accusation,” Mill said.

Ford’s accusations are conveniently timed for the Democrats. Ford came forward with her accusations right before the Senate Judiciary Committee was going to advance the confirmation process.

In addition, Ford’s earliest recorded mention of the alleged sexual assault was to her therapist in 2012, 30 years after the alleged assault and after Kavanaugh was beginning to be looked at by Republicans as a potential Supreme Court nominee. That’s a red flag.

Do you think Kavanaugh is innocent?

“It’s a red flag when an identification is made only after the accused appears in media and the accuser has not seen the accused for a number of years or was otherwise in regular contact with the accused,” Mill explained.

Ford’s original demand for an FBI investigation also crosses several things off the list.

Ford tried to modify and attack the process until she eventually agreed to testify days later.

Failing to show up to speak in front of Congress would have forced Kavanaugh to defend himself before she testified, which is also a red flag.

“When the accuser demands the accused speak first, it is a strong indication that the accuser wants the opportunity to fill in the details of the accusation to counter any defense or alibi the accused might offer,” Mill said.

Ford’s story also matched red flags when none of the alleged firsthand witnesses corroborated her story and Kavanaugh offered an unequivocal denial.

Ford’s secondhand witnesses don’t have any fresh information and only learned about the assault decades after it allegedly happened.

The left immediately accepted Ford’s story and cast Kavanaugh as a sexual abuser. Now, Ford’s story is crumbling, making the left’s kneejerk reaction look all the more foolish.
