'Pure Evil': Sister of El Paso Victim Shreds Dems for Not Welcoming Trump, Politicizing Shooting
One woman personally affected by the mass murder in El Paso, Texas, last Saturday took to Facebook to express her outrage at the divisive responses from those whose job it is to help heal and unite.
Deborah Anchondo is the sister of Andre Anchondo, who, along with his wife Jordan, heroically died shielding his 2-month-old son from the hail of bullets. Their senseless murder orphaned three young children. (Click here to donate to a GoFundMe for the family.)
Now, Vibora (Deborah) is blasting politicians who claim they speak for all of El Paso when they say President Donald Trump is not welcome there.
“It’s such a shame that two of our local politicians (I refuse to say their names as they don’t deserve it) are saying that our President is not welcome on Wednesday,” she posted Tuesday. “I cannot believe how these monsters are using the tragic event to push their political agenda.”
“I lost my brother and sister-in-law on Saturday. My family and I are living a horrible nightmare. The visit from our President will be more than comforting to my family. He will not be here for a political agenda. The two monsters from El Paso, who do not deserve to be mentioned by name nor even the nicknames I have for them, are just pure evil,” she wrote.
“My brothers body was still laying at Walmart on Saturday night when they decided to make this into a political issue and push their agenda by blaming our President for this. Rather than focusing on the situation and the individual who destroyed the lives of many, these evil people selfishly turned this into a political war. I’m equally as angered by those two as I am with the person who took my brother and his wife from me, typing this I think I feel more animosity towards those two evil politicians.”
Democrats across the country have been trying to blame his attack on Trump, but the president has endured especially harsh criticism from leftist politicians who hail from El Paso.
Former congressman and long-shot presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke seized the moment, using his platform on TV and Twitter to blame Trump specifically for the shooting.
O’Rourke has been channeling this newfound attention into a boost for his struggling campaign, calling for extreme gun control measures and legislative reform.
On Wednesday, he even sparred with Trump directly before the president’s scheduled visit to El Paso, repeating the dubious claim that the attack was “inspired by [his] racism.”

As Anchondo said, there are more politicians refusing to welcome Trump into the tragedy-stricken city. The other is likely Rep. Veronica Escobar, whose district includes El Paso.
Escobar made waves last month when she was implicated in a plot to coach illegal immigrants on how to enter the United States.
Those tensions were exacerbated when she turned down an invitation to join the president during his visit.

She went on to outline what she would have told the president, which was yet another disingenuous blame game.

Anchondo is right to call out these political hacks for what they are. El Paso is a grieving community, and using their pain to further a radical, ineffective agenda or spew hatred at the president is disgusting.
