Raw Footage: Asian Journalist Attacked by Black-Clad Antifa Thugs, Then Riot Police Show Up

At its core, the #MeToo movement is a noble cause. Anyone who would dare to use a position of power or influence to sexually abuse a vulnerable person is the absolute worst.

Those types of people should always be called out and shamed in the most public manner possible. Scumbags like Harvey Weinstein and Larry Nassar deserve every last bit of scorn and hatred that’s headed their respective ways.

But along the way, a dangerous thing happened to the #MeToo movement. Because of how damning and damaging those accusations can be, some unscrupulous people were beginning to realize they could weaponize the movement to ruin an ideological or political opponent.

Not to overgeneralize things, but considering that the majority of #MeToo accusations were aimed at men, it became a genuinely disconcerting time for many men.

As most hashtag movements tend to do, #MeToo spawned some spinoffs. One such spinoff, aimed at standing up for men who had been falsely accused, is #HimToo.

In Portland, a rally supporting #HimToo was started by the conservative group Patriot Prayer, according to The Oregonian. The event took place Saturday and journalist Andy C. Ngo was there to document it.

As with most things involving antifa, things took a decidedly ugly turn when the group showed up to fight against the rights of men who have been falsely accused of sexual assault.

Ngo said he and his equipment were targets of the group’s rage.

So they destroyed property and blathered on about various offenses that had nothing to do with the event itself? Sounds like antifa to me.

But seriously, what do fascism and Islamophobia have anything to do with wanting to make sure men get fair and due process when they’re being accused of something as heinous as sexual abuse? Weinstein and Nassar deserve to be condemned but were still granted due process.

“They said my parents & grandparents would be ashamed of me,” Ngo wrote about what must have been a sickening and terrifying experience. “It feels surreal to be treated this way by people who don’t even know me.”

Ngo posted some videos of the absolutely sub-human way he was treated by antifa. (Warning: The Following Videos Contain Graphic Language)

Eventually, police outfitted in riot gear had to intervene. What started as a peaceful rally quickly devolved into chaos thanks to antifa.

As the Oregonian notes, the police standoff lasted well into the late afternoon.

This just goes to show you how unhinged the far left has become. They like to claim they are the peaceful party of tolerance. Where, in any of the above videos, was there either peace or tolerance? Notice how antifa never bothered to actually assess Ngo’s personal ideological beliefs.

Liberals like to boil everything down to right (if you agree with them) and wrong (if you don’t agree with them). I’d like to think that there is a world where both #MeToo and #HimToo can co-exist. It’s not outlandish to say that sexual abusers should be condemned while also stating that men who have been falsely accused deserve to be heard and be given due process.

If antifa’s nonsense is anything to go by, that world may never exist.
