WH Reporter Obsesses Over Trump's Ranch Dressing When Others Got Italian, Balsamic Vinegar

Share

We’ve all gotten used to the establishment media relentlessly attacking President Donald Trump for every single thing he does, no matter how big or small.

Even so, this one seems astoundingly petty and ridiculous.

National Public Radio political writer Sarah McCammon, who was serving as White House radio pool reporter during the president’s working lunch with U.S. governors Thursday, served up a shocking exposé on Trump’s … salad dressing.

“I also noticed that the rest of the table appeared to have little cups of balsamic vinegar or Italian dressing, while POTUS had a slightly larger tub of what appeared to be Ranch dressing,” McCammon said, according to Voice of America White House Bureau Chief Steve Herman.

That’s it. His presidency is finished. Trump will be impeached and banished to Hidden Valley.

Or maybe the liberal media might want to dial back their obsession with trying to make the president look bad with every single sentence they produce.

Herman’s tweet drew a strong response from people pointing out the absurdity of the “Saladgate” scandal.

Amid the mockery, McCammon tweeted that the Ranch revelation was “just a fun observation” and she didn’t intend it to be political “in any way.”

“And I’d like to note that this was a tiny, light sidenote in a very long thread of pool reports I sent out today,” she said.

Not many people were convinced.

With reporting like this, you can see why Trump wants to cut federal funding for NPR.

He knows he can’t get away with his monstrous salad crimes when he’s under the watchful eye of vigilant reporters like Sarah McCammon.
