Patriots Nation has been waiting with baited breath for All-World tight end Rob Gronkowski to confirm that he will indeed play next season.

In the meantime, it does appear that Gronk has made some plans for the future.

The Tracking Board reported that Gronkowski will act alongside Mel Gibson in an upcoming action film called “Boss Level.”

The movie is about a retired special operations veteran (played by Frank Grillo), who “becomes trapped in a never-ending loop that results in his death every day,” according to The Tracking Board.

There has been no word on what role the Patriots tight end will play, but it’s not like the guy doesn’t have a wide range of talents.

For a player who’s had multiple back surgeries, it sure seems like Gronkowski can move well.

Do you think Gronk would be successful if he took up acting full-time?

And, as one might expect, he’s got no fear.

Gronkowski is certainly no stranger to acting.

Of course, his biggest role is being … well, himself.

But he absolutely killed it in the 2015 movie “Entourage.”

Patriots fans will surely flock to the theater to see “Boss Level.”
