Hate: Police on Scene at GOP HQ After Bomb Report, Searching for 1 Individual

Share

Over the past two to three years, there have been hundreds of documented incidents in which left-leaning groups and individuals have lashed out violently against those on the right, either through random assaults or targeted attacks.

Yet, the left routinely denies any sort of connection between the violent acts of leftists and the sharp and heated rhetoric of elected Democrats and liberal media figures, and instead suggests that any “hate” visible in our society right now is solely because of the Republican Party and President Donald Trump.

Indeed, The New York Times just published a ludicrous opinion piece from insane leftist columnist Paul Krugman — titled “Hate Is on the Ballot Next Week” — which in essence absolved the Democrats and political left of any sort of wrongdoing while blaming Trump and Republicans for virtually every bad and hateful thing that has occurred in recent days, weeks and months.

But Krugman’s highly partisan assertion has not aged well at all, as reports have emerged from Michigan of a bomb threat at a Republican Party headquarters building in Traverse City that prompted the evacuation of all party workers and volunteers.

Local media outlet WMNN-LD reported that an “agitated” man had walked into the Michigan Republican Party headquarters and threatened to blow the building up, prior to leaving the building and fleeing the scene before police arrived.

The chair of the Grand Traverse County Republican Party, John Roth, informed the local outlet that the man who entered the headquarters had been carrying a sign which read “Trump is Satan.”

Workers asked the obviously anti-Trump individual to leave the office, at which point the man allegedly replied, “Maybe I should just blow you up.”

Do you agree that the left has resorted to violence to settle political differences?

Those workers then called the police, who of course advised everyone to evacuate the building in the interest of safety.

The Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and checked the building for any suspicious devices or bombs, but failed to locate anything. An investigation into the incident has been opened.

The Michigan GOP posted to Twitter: “Police are investigating a bomb threat to our Traverse City office. It has been evacuated and everyone is safe. We are thankful to our friends in law enforcement for their quick response. We will update as we have more info.”

This bomb threat incident in Michigan comes just days after somebody opened fire on a Republican Party headquarters office in Volusia County, Florida, a shooting that left windows and campaign signs destroyed and bullet holes in the walls and ceiling of the rented unit nestled within a strip mall, according to a report from The Daytona Beach News-Journal. South Daytona Police are investigating that incident, but have yet to determine if there were any witnesses, much less name any suspects.

There is little doubt that both of these potentially violent and deadly incidents were perpetrated by angry leftists fueled by the incessant hatred of Trump and Republicans that the liberal media and elected Democrats have transformed over the past two years from smoldering kindling to a raging inferno.

Yet, leftist media types like Krugman and others would deny that the left has perpetrated any sort of violent act whatsoever, and insist that all violence and hatred has emanated solely from the right, even as our own eyes and ears and common-freaking-sense tells us the exact opposite.
