Share

Fans of the royal family are having a field day this week, with plenty of royal events and surprises happening daily.

On Saturday, April 21, Queen Elizabeth turned 92, and the world celebrated with her at her birthday celebration concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Monday, April 23, the third royal baby made his way into the world, and fans are still chomping at the bit awaiting the little prince’s name.

Princess Charlotte also made history on Monday, as the first female royal in British history not to be pushed out of line for the crown by a younger male sibling.

Tuesday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed more details about the musicians they have chosen for their wedding, including a 19-year-old cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, the Choir of St. George’s Chapel, and Karen Gibson and the Kingdom Choir.

Wednesday, fans awaited the reveal of the third royal child’s name, and while William kept the secret a little longer, he did drop a few hints as to what he and Duchess Kate have decided.

The royals have kept us on our toes awaiting the official announcement of Prince Harry’s best man for his May 19 wedding to Markle, and today, we finally know who it is.

Sources previously suggested that Prince Harry would not break tradition as his brother William did for his 2011 wedding, as the title of “Best Man” is not a British custom.

However, Kensington Palace announced April 26 that Prince Harry will indeed have a best man at his wedding.

And as many have already guessed, he has asked Prince William.

The Palace revealed that William is “honoured to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St George’s Chapel, Windsor on May 19th.”

Of course, there is plenty more to learn before the big day in May. We can only wait and see what else the royals have in store for us until then!
