'Aquaman' Jason Momoa Crashes Beachside Wedding with Epic Photobombs

The 2005 Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn comedy “Wedding Crashers” portrayed many bride’s greatest fear. After all, no woman wants to find her ceremony interrupted by unwanted guests on her big day.

But some uninvited guests really are delightful surprises. Just ask wedding photographer Meg Miller.

According to the Huffington Post, Miller was photographing a bride and groom in New York’s Central Park in 2016. While most of the joggers who frequented the park steered away from the couple, one man made a beeline for them.

That surprised Miller — until she saw who it was. The jogger was none other than the actor Tom Hanks.

To the couple’s delighted surprise, he kissed the brides hand and offered them his hearty congratulations. He even offered to serve as the officiant in their wedding since he’s an ordained minister.

The movie star snapped a selfie with the duo and then “sort of took off running,” Miller said. “Had he just run past us, we would have never known it was him.”

Katie Meyers, who was getting married in Oahu, Hawaii, also had a serendipitous experience with a celebrity on her wedding day. While the photographer was snapping pictures of her and her husband, Meyers noticed there was a celebrity among the guests.

“We were taking our wedding photos after the ceremony out on the rocks, and Jason Momoa and some of his family and some friends just all walked out on the beach,” she explained to E! News. “They were shouting congratulations to us, and they were super calm and super chill.”

Momoa’s blockbuster “Aquaman” was about to open, but that didn’t stop the couple’s wedding coordinator, Carina Cooper, from making a bold request: She asked if Momoa would mind photobombing their wedding snaps.

Not only did the movie star not mind, he went the extra mile. He found a boy on the beach who just happened to have a replica trident that Aquaman brandishes in the movie.

After borrowing it, he stalked behind the couple as they locked lips on the sand, looking as though he’d just risen from the deep — and he came up with the whole idea on his own.

“I was like, ‘You have creative freedom,’ and he did his own thing in the photos,” Meyers said. “We had no idea what it was going to look after, but it was hilarious.”
