Chick-fil-A Employees Change Worship Leader’s Flat Tire in the Middle of Drive-Thru
Once again, Chick-fil-A employees have gone above and beyond, making it their pleasure to serve a customer.
Chick-fil-A drive-thrus are usually pretty packed. Wouldn’t you dread being the one customer who got a flat tire in the middle of the line?
That’s exactly what happened to one man in East Ridge, Tennessee. Brian Hall — a worship pastor — was just grabbing a bite to eat when his tire went flat.
This could have caused quite the embarrassing problem, but the employees at the Jordan Crossings Chick-fil-A took matters into their own hands — literally.
“Bunch of saints over at the Chick-fil-A in East Ridge!” Hall wrote on Facebook. “My tire somehow went flat in the drive through so they rushed out to replace it for me with their hydraulic Jack.”
“They brought my food out to me,” he added. “Then, after it was done, replaced my food with new fresh food so it wouldn’t be cold and put two cookies in there for free! Those people are truly doing the Lord’s work over there!”
Other customers seemed to agree. Rather than be irritated by the hold-up, Tracey Allen Loveland commended the employees’ kindness.
“More people in the world should be as kind as Chick-fil-A employees!” Loveland wrote on Facebook.
“Whatever they put in the Employee Kool-Aid, they need to sprinkle that stuff all over the world.”
Once again, this just goes to show that even if they are closed one day a week, Chick-fil-A more than makes up for it with their quality customer service.
“They rushed out when they saw what happened and wouldn’t let me do a thing,” Brian Hall told Liftable, a section of The Western Journal.
“Their kindness was overwhelming in the middle of a somewhat awkward situation,” he added. “They truly went above and beyond to be Christ-like.”
Hall explained that he’s a carpenter and usually works with his hands all day, but he sat back and allowed others to serve him, even though he could have changed the tire himself.
“They insisted,” he said.
He also mentioned that his tattoos definitely don’t make him look like the average worship pastor, making these guys’ act of kindness all the more heartwarming.
“They were excited to work with their hands and since I get to every day, I let them change it for me,” Hall told Liftable.
“People have said, ‘what kind of man lets other men change their tire?’ and my response is, ‘a man that is secure in who he is, has nothing to prove and believes in allowing kind people to do kind things to spread positivity in this negative world.’”
