Look: Charity kickball game makes NFL superstar Julio Jones look foolish

Share

Julio Jones has a legitimate claim as football’s best wide receiver.

He’s played seven years for Atlanta, and has been a Pro Bowler five times.

Were it not for New England’s incredible comeback two years ago, Jones would have been credited with one of the best catches in Super Bowl history.

He once ran a 4.39 40-yard dash … with a broken foot.

Yes, Jones can do it all.

Unless we’re talking about kickball.

During a charity kickball game hosted by Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, this world-class athlete looked like anything but a star.

Is Julio Jones the best wide receiver in the NFL?

You can hear someone in the crowd shout what we’re all thinking:

“You are too good of an athlete for that!”

Of course, anyone can have a bad game.

Just Saturday, Clay Matthews broke his nose during a softball game.

Jones didn’t suffer any injury, so the Falcons can breathe easy.

But clearly, NFL teams need to keep their players off the playgrounds.

Four-square, anyone?
