At this point, everyone has heard about Honey Boo Boo whether in passing or through watching “Toddlers and Tiaras” and her own spin off show, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”
Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, now 12, is known for her sass and snark, as well as her affinity for sparkles.
That big personality is actually what earned her her fame and even her own show.
Her mom, known as “Mama June,” was a big part of that, seeing as how Honey Boo Boo had to get her habits from somewhere.
Mama June recently had a major transformation. She’s been working hard to lose 300 pounds and make a big change in her lifestyle.
At 38 years old, she’s also a grandmother! In addition Honey Boo Boo, she has three other daughters.
Anna Shannon, 23, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 18, and Jessica Shannon, 21, complete the family.
Mama June was already a grandmother to two girls through Anna: Kaitlyn Elizabeth Clark and Kylee Madison Cardwell.
Now, though, she’s walking the red carpet with another granddaughter, Ella Grace Efird, from Pumpkin. Pumpkin and her fiancé, Joshua Brandon, accompanied her.
Before “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” ended, Mama June was able to accrue over $1 million in net worth.
Now, though, that’s looking like it might jump with the debut of her new show, “Mama June: From Not to Hot.”
That show premiered last night, Jan. 12, at 9 p.m. Eastern.
According to her Instagram, part of what made Mama June’s weight loss journey possible was her love for Teami Blends.
Teami is a company that makes loose-leaf, pre-packaged tea to help people achieve various goals. In this case, and in most, it was weight loss.
Mama June is part of their loyalty program, promoting and selling products for the company. She provides discount codes and (probably) makes a commission when you use them.
What an exciting time for this famous family! New addition to the family and a successful lifestyle change for the better: a great way to kick off the new year!
