New LA LeBron James mural is fit for a king

As if the “LABron” billboards weren’t enough, LeBron James already has a mural in his likeness welcoming him to Los Angeles.

Artists Jonas Never and Menso One have created a mural of LeBron at the Baby Blues BBQ restaurant in Venice, California.

The mural is about 15 miles west of the Staples Center but just a short drive from LeBron’s home in Brentwood.

Is LeBron James the greatest player to ever suit up for the Lakers?

You can view more murals that Never has created on his Instagram page, including ones of Clayton Kershaw, Lonzo Ball, Craig Sager and Ronda Rousey.

While Los Angeles is welcoming its latest superstar, Cleveland said goodbye to its hometown hero in more ways than one.

Just days before the LA mural of LeBron was unveiled, a giant LeBron James banner in downtown Cleveland started to come down, just as it did when he left in 2010.

Meanwhile, back in LA, yet another “mural” of LeBron emerged: Someone taped a photograph of LeBron’s face onto a Kobe Bryant mural.

The Kobe mural is composed of 413 triangles to pay homage to his last game which occurred April 13, 2016.

In the video above, a Kobe fan, or LeBron hater, took off his shoe and needed 10 throws to knock down the LeBron photograph. He then slapped at the falling picture one last time to prove his point that Bryant is still the king of Los Angeles.

Others, including NBA players, feel the exact same way as this fan, but they might just be bitter LeBron didn’t join their team.
