Ocasio-Cortez Won't Debate Shapiro Because He's 'Sexist', So Conservative Ladies Step Up

Share

New York Congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — a self-proclaimed “democratic socialist” — has been heralded by the left as the “fresh new face” and future of the Democrat Party.

As such, she has been making the rounds of liberal media to drum up support for her campaign and socialist ideals, but in the process has shown herself to be ridiculously unknowledgeable of basic economics and geopolitics and has repeatedly expressed an “ignorant incoherence” in many of her interviews.

Since she has studiously avoided conducting any interviews with right-leaning media outlets — she has claimed conservatives are afraid to debate her — conservative pundit Ben Shapiro challenged the socialist candidate to a debate, and even offered to contribute $10,000 to her campaign — which would likely violate campaign finance laws — or make the debate a fundraiser for the charity of her choice … but she declined to respond to that challenge.

The Daily Caller reported that after Ocasio-Cortez had been called out on social media for her failure to respond to Shapiro’s challenge, she finally did reply to the offer by playing the victim and smearing Shapiro as some sort of “catcalling” sexist with “bad intentions” who felt “entitled” to a response from her.

Needless to say, she received quite a bit of blowback for the lame excuse in the comments of her post and also received a rapid response from Shapiro himself, who noted that she was the one with “bad intentions” and displayed “cowardice” by “slandering” him as a “sexist catcaller without reason or evidence.”

However, in light of Ocasio-Cortez’s cry of “sexism” to avoid a debate with Shapiro — which she would most certainly lose — a number of conservative women pundits stepped up and made the same offer of a debate as Shapiro had, placing her on the spot and completely undermining her victim narrative.

First up was former Pussycat Dolls singer turned conservative commentator Kaya Jones, who actually tweeted prior to the dust up, “Can I please debate you @Politicon this coming October @Ocasio2018”

Do you think Ocasio-Cortez is just trying to avoid a debate she knows she would lose?

Up next was Townhall editor and Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich, who tweeted, “Okay fine @Ocasio2018, if you won’t debate @benshapiro because he’s a man (and because he would destroy you intellectually) how about a debate with me?”

Following that came a challenge from Turning Point USA communications director and social media firebrand Candace Owens, who pointedly asked, “And what exactly was your excuse for having turned down the debate with me? Can’t wrap that one up in fake-feminism. I’ll double @benshapiro’s offer. 20k to a charity of your choice — a capitalism vs. socialism debate.”

Finally, Ocasio-Cortez was called out by CRTV’s “Conservative Millennial,” Allie Beth Stuckey — who recently posted a video of a mock interview with the candidate that caused leftist outrage — and tweeted, “If a man asking @Ocasio2018 to debate is catcalling, what was it when I asked? (And other women that I’m sure have also asked.) I would LOVE to discuss her claim that Jesus was a socialist. Or is that mean?”

Thus far, there has been no response from Ocasio-Cortez to any of the challenges posed by the non-sexist and non-catcalling conservative women … and there probably won’t be, as again, the ill-informed socialist candidate who only speaks in half-thought out liberal cliches is at least smart enough to know she will undoubtedly lose such a debate, and her utter ignorance revealed for all to see.
