Police Officer Realizes He's Been Setup After Taking 1 Look at Video on Student's Phone
A student teamed up with a member of the staff at Heritage High School in Brentwood, CA to trick the school’s police officer.
Normally, lying to a police officer would be a very bad idea. But trust me, they had the best reason possible.
You see, the students and staff truly appreciated all that Officer Mitch Brouillette did for them. So, they wanted to do something special to tell him “thank you” in a big way.
“Officer Mitch” has always gone above and beyond his primary duties to protect all of the students and faculty at the school.
He’s always ready to lend a listening ear to those who need it or offer an encouraging high five to brighten a student’s day.
The school was so grateful for Officer Mitch’s impact that they joined forces with “The Dude. BeNice” project.
Together, they put together an amazing flash mob to the song “Downtown,” by Macklemore. It happened to be one of the officer’s favorite songs.
A member of the school’s resource center approached Officer Mitch and told him about a “situation” that needed immediate attention.
She explained that a student was in trouble for inappropriate content in an uploaded online video.
Officer Mitch walked into the office to find the troubled student crying and upset, but once he started watching the video that got her “in trouble,” he quickly realized that he had been set up.
You can watch the entire video from August 2016 unfold. It will leave you grinning from ear-to-ear:
Not only was the surprise video truly heartwarming, but his expression of surprise when the flash mob was revealed proves that this is a moment he will never forget!
It’s inspiring to see young people coming together to show love and respect for a police officer who works hard and has dedicated his life to protect and serve, not only the school but his entire community.
