'INSANITY': DHS Unleashes on New York Dems After Illegal Who Brutalized NYPD Cop Walks Free
Federal officials are combing New York City for a violent illegal immigrant whom New York City officials have allowed to roam the city at will.
The Department of Homeland Security is looking for Alpha Bah, an illegal immigrant from Guinea who earlier this month was arrested for aggravated assault on a police officer with a deadly weapon, according to a Department of Homeland Security news release that called the incident “SANCTUARY INSANITY.”
“Under Governor Hochul, New York has become a hotbed of illegal alien crime,” the release noted.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement lodged a detainer to have Bah turned over to ICE after his arrest on multiple charges that included resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, and intent to obtain transportation without paying.
SANCTUARY NY RELEASES ILLEGAL ALIEN AFTER ARREST FOR ASSAULTING A POLICE OFFICER!
Alpha Bah, an illegal alien released into the U.S. under the Biden administration, was arrested for assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon.
Despite an ICE detainer, NYPD RELEASED Bah without notifying ICE. He had been arrested and released twice before and remains AT LARGE.
Bah’s case is far from isolated. Since President Trump took office, the state of New York has failed to honor 16,070 ICE detainers associated with 52,503 criminal charges and convictions.
While sanctuary politicians release violent criminals back onto our streets, putting American lives at risk, the patriots of ICE are working around the clock to remove them from our country.

The New York City Police Department handed Bah his freedom, however, in keeping with the sanctuary policies of Hochul, as well as New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
New York City had protected Bah twice before, the release said.
On June 15, 2026, he was charged with intent to obtain transportation without paying. On Jan. 5, 2025, he was charged with criminal trespass.
On both occasions, he was set free despite ICE’s request to hold him for possible deportation.
A new House Republican report says Bronx and Queens prosecutors sought to reduce charges to help noncitizens avoid deportation. That’s what happens under Kathy Hochul’s sanctuary policies. I stand with victims. As Governor, I’ll end sanctuary policies that shield criminals and put New Yorkers’ safety first.

“This illegal alien from Guinea was arrested for assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon. Despite these violent charges, New York City sanctuary politicians refused to honor ICE’s detainer and RELEASED him back onto the streets, and he remains at large,” Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said.
“This is the vision of sanctuary politicians in a nutshell: the open-border policies of the Biden Administration let this criminal into our country, and then sanctuary politicians in New York released him after arresting him without notifying ICE,” he said.

“DHS is calling on Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani to knock it off with these evil sanctuary policies before another American gets hurt, or worse,” he said.
“We will no longer be a sanctuary state when I become governor.”
Bruce Blakeman, who’s challenging Gov. Kathy Hochul in November, vows to overhaul New York’s immigration policies on “Hannity,” claiming the state spends $81,000 per illegal migrant.

Bah crossed the southern border in November 2023. After being briefly detained by the Border Patrol, he was set free to enter the country under Biden administration policies.
The Department of Homeland Security said that from Jan. 20, 2025, to Oct. 8, 2026, 16,070 detainers were ignored in New York state.
They covered individuals charged with or convicted of 52,503 crimes, including 131 homicides and more than 1,000 sexual offenses.
