Stan Lee Devastated after Dog Goes Missing. NFL Legend Becomes His Real-Life Superhero

Share

Stan Lee, Marvel Comics creator and former president, chairman, and editor-in chief, is used to creating the superheroes that save the day.

But recently, Stan, 95, needed a real-life hero to come to his rescue when his beloved mini Pomeranian, Charlotte, went missing.

Two weeks ago, Charlotte escaped from Stan’s home in the Hollywood Hills. It is unclear how the pup got loose.

The comic legend and his business partner put up ‘missing’ fliers all around the neighborhood.

But after a few days and no new leads, he began to think he’d never see her again.

Little did he know, Charlotte would turn up in the hands of another celebrity just one mile away from his home.

NFL Hall of Famer Jim Brown, 82, and his wife Monique discovered the frightened pooch in their backyard without a collar.

They knew the dog’s owner must have been missing her terribly, so the Browns started sending out emails to neighbors.

Unsuccessful in their search via email, they then brought her to the vet to see if she had been chipped. She had been, but the chip was never registered.

Still determined to return Charlotte home safely, the couple took to the streets.

They went from neighborhood to neighborhood knocking on doors and scanning the streets. Sure enough, they eventualy came across Stan’s posters!

They called the number on the fliers, and in no time at all, Charlotte and Stan were reunited at last.
