Bill and Hillary Clinton's fate for ignoring congressional subpoenas is now in the hands of the House of Representatives.

The 42nd president's first term started with the deadly confrontation in Waco, Texas. His second term featured impeachment for lying.

"Dragging your feet is not the same as noncompliance. It's not the same as contempt," the California Democrat said in his remarks.

"Former President Clinton and Secretary Clinton were legally required to appear for depositions before this committee."

A congressinal panel voted to hold Bill and Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress for refusing to explain their Epstein connections.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer told reporters that the committee will seek to hold former President Bill Clinton in contempt.

"They are obligated under the law to appear and we expect them to do so," an Oversight Committee representative warned.
