Here Are the Absolute Best Trump Roasts on Twitter... This Guy Is Awesome
As someone who developed a billion-dollar business empire, President Donald Trump acutely understands the value in quality marketing. And by quality marketing, I mean a company’s ability to not only share its message to the world, but also ensure that the message is received and remembered.
For instance, if I said, “They’re grrrrrreat!”, what would come to mind? Frosted Flakes, right? That’s because the Kellogg Company has for decades marketed the cereal by running commercials featuring its mascot, Tony the Tiger, enthusiastically declaring, “They’re grrrrrreat!”
This brings us to Trump, who’s utilized the same principle to not only highlight his enemies to the American people via Twitter, but also permanently embed these villainous antagonists in the popular minds.
Take former FBI Director James Comey, whom Trump dubbed “Leakin’ James Comey.”
One would have to be living under a rock to not know that, after being fired by Trump last year, Comey leaked a batch of “private memos” to the media that contained classified information.
Granted, while not every American will remember the exact details of what happened, you can bet everybody will remember the key point — that “Leakin’ James Comey” leaked something.
They’ll likely also remember the fake tears of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, whom Trump dubbed “Fake Tears Schumer” after he burst into crocodile tears over the president’s immigration moratorium early last year.
There’s also Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the California Democrat whom Trump blasted as “Sneaky Dianne” after she unilaterally released the testimony of Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson earlier this month without first seeking permission from fellow members of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
And who could forget the nickname he gave to North Korean dictator Jim Kong, aka “Little Rocket Man“?

According to Axios, Trump has used similar nicknames to blast the duplicitous media as well:
“New York Times is always the ‘failing’ New York Times. CNN used to be ‘Clinton News Network,’ but Trump now likes to refer to the network as ‘FNN’ — Fake News Network. The Washington Post has now been dubbed ‘Amazon Washington Post.'”
And so on and so on.
Liberals argue these nicknames are idiotic and make Trump look like a child, but they’re missing the point. The goal of these nicknames isn’t to elicit puerile giggles, but rather to perpetually remind the American people of those media entities, lawmakers and foreign leaders whom the president considers to be enemies.
You may or may not like Sen. Feinstein, for example, but you’ll never forget that to Trump, she’ll always be “Sneaky Dianne.” Nothing more, nothing less.
