Colbert Loses It: Compares Supreme Court Justice to Alleged Serial Rapist
Stephen Colbert, host of “The Late Show,” is still peddling the discredited sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
On Wednesday night’s “The Late Show,” Colbert compared Kavanaugh to rapper R. Kelly, who has had relationships with underage girls and is now being accused of raping multiple women.
“Kelly was charged in Cook County on Feb. 22 with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against four alleged victims, three of them minors,” NPR reported.
Colbert dedicated a brief segment of his show to comment on the allegations against Kelly and the rapper’s ridiculous Wednesday morning appearance on “CBS This Morning.”
In Kelly’s interview, he angrily lashed out at CBS anchor Gayle King and towered over her at one point.

“If you’ve been living under a beautiful, comforting, noise-cancelling rock, R. Kelly is accused of multiple counts of physical and sexual abuse, including holding victims, some under age, against their will,” Colbert explained.
“And this was a chance for Kelly to try to reassure the world that he is normal. But instead, he went with… not that,” Colbert said, referencing Kelly’s CBS interview.
While Colbert is right that Kelly’s interview was bizarre, what Colbert said next was almost as bizarre.
“Wow. Wow. He shouted and he cried, but it was completely unconvincing. For Pete’s sake. He forgot to say he liked beer,” Colbert said.
The show’s producer then put a picture of Kavanaugh right next to a picture of Kelly.

This was supposed to be a clever reference to the discredited and largely-debunked sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh.
At one point during Kavanaugh’s hearing, he admitted that he liked to drink beer during his younger years, which set the left into a frenzy akin to the 20th Century prohibitionist movement.
It’s pretty pathetic for Colbert to continue spreading misinformation about Kavanaugh, who is only trying to faithfully serve as a Supreme Court Justice, father, and husband.
It’s also unreasonable and sad to compare Kavanaugh’s emotional hearing to Kelly’s temper tantrum.
Kavanaugh was emotional during his hearing before Congress because his reputation was being destroyed by decades-old, basleless sexual assault accusations that were pushed by nearly every member of the Democratic Party.
Kelly, on the other hand, has been embroiled in controversy after controversy regarding his alleged sexual deviancy for decades.
Late night shows used to be funny, but now they are just another platform for liberals to push sickening crusades against good men like Kavanaugh.
