Fox News Caves, Yanks Trump Ad Over 'Racist' Outcry from SJW's
In a somewhat stunning move, Fox News, following suit with other media outlets, has decided to pull a President Donald Trump ad decrying the rapidly approaching and growing migrant caravan.
Many on the left have cried that the ad is overtly “racist,” despite the ad mostly providing a clear picture at the horrors that can accompany unchecked immigration.
Paid for by the Donald J. Trump for President campaign, according to The New York Times, the ad depicts an illegal immigrant from Mexico named Luis Bracamontes, laughing and bragging about his murder of two Northern California sheriff’s deputies.
Bracomentes committed the killings in 2014, but was not convicted until February of this year.

As The Times reports, multiple outlets have decided to pull the ad after outcries from the social justice warriors on the far left. That includes NBC News, CNN and Facebook, but that’s hardly a surprise given the very left-leaning ideologies those outlets have espoused.
Fox News? That’s a little more surprising, considering that the network is one of the few outlets Trump doesn’t routinely lump in with the “fake news” media.
In fairness to Fox News, the vitriolic outcries over the ad are certainly loud.
The Washington Post called the ad “anti-immigrant fearmongering” and the “essence of the Donald Trump presidency.”
The Daily Beast outright called the ad “racist” in the headline.
Splinter News called the ad both “super racist” and “extremely racist.”
NBC caught immediate flak for airing the controversial ad during Sunday’s much-anticipated “Sunday Night Football” game between the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots. Deadspin pondered if NBC agreed “with (the ad’s) racist demonization of migrants.” It didn’t take long for NBC to cave, as just a day later NBC Universal issued a statement.
“After further review, we recognize the insensitive nature of the ad and have decided to cease airing it across our properties as soon as possible,” NBC Universal said in their statement according to the Times.
Fox News and Fox Business issued a similar statement through their president of ad sales, Marianne Gambelli.
“Upon further review, Fox News pulled the ad yesterday and it will not appear on either Fox News Channel or Fox Business Network,” Gambelli said, according to The Times.
Many on the left have completely missed the point when they criticize that the ad, which focuses on both the migrant caravan and despicable cop-killer Bracamontes. The left tries to subvert the argument by claiming that Bracamontes was freed during the Bush administration, and not a Democratic regime. That’s being willfully ignorant to the point the ad is trying to make.
Current Democrats have made no secret that they want the migrant caravan to barge into our country. Homeland Security has already identified hundreds of convicts and known gang members within the caravan.
Is it any sort of a stretch to suggest that another Bracamontes could be among those hundreds? Pardon my French, but heck no. That is why Trump’s ad is spurring Americans to vote red on Tuesday. The ad isn’t attacking immigrants or immigration as a whole, it’s attacking the notion that Democrats want to allow potentially dangerous people into this country completely unchecked.
That’s one of the many reasons it’s so surprising that Fox News is caving to misleading leftist outcries. To give any credence to the mob mentality of the far left should be condemned, regardless of where you like to get your news from.
