'Stop Lying!' Angel Mom Gets Her Shot at Warren, Hammers Her in Public
It’s not a title any of them seek, but it is one they get when they have lost a child: “Angel” parent. For some, the devastating loss has come at the hands of illegal aliens.
Angel mom Mary Ann Mendoza lost her son, Brandon, who was a police officer, because of a drunk driver. That man, Raul Silva-Corona, was also an illegal alien, reported the U.K. Daily Mail in 2014.
Since the loss of her son, Mendoza has become an outspoken activist, fighting against illegal immigration. After Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) comments regarding the murder of college student Mollie Tibbetts allegedly at the hands of an illegal alien, Mendoza had a few things to say.
According to Fox News Insider, Warren appeared on CNN and stated, “I’m so sorry for the family here. One of the things we have to remember is that we need an immigration system that is effective, that focuses on where real problems are.”

Mendoza appeared on Fox’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” show and laid into Warren and her comments. “I was disgusted by Senator Elizabeth Warren, hearing her speak today. And what I want to say to her is, ‘Stop lying to the American people, because you don’t care what is happening to the victims of illegal alien crime.'”
“Because if you did, you would be standing up for us and you would be doing something about it.” But the Angel Mom was far from finished with the Democrat senator: “We have pleaded with these politicians to do something to protect American citizens, and they are ramping up their protection of illegal alien criminals.”
Mendoza then went on to name some of the victims of illegal aliens and the appalling sentences given to them for their crimes. The Daily Mail wrote that in the case of her own son’s death, the drunk driver, Silva-Coronoa, died in the crash.
However, he had been convicted of other crimes years before in 1994, and if he’d been deported then, her son would not have been hit and killed by him. Mendoza wrote an angry letter to President Obama asking why an illegal alien and convicted criminal had been allowed to remain in the country.
She didn’t stop there. “With the help of a lawyer, she is calling for laws that would prohibit undocumented immigrants from purchasing and registering vehicles without a driver’s license and further legislation that would remove undocumented immigrants who are convicted of a crime.”
Mendoza explained to Tucker Carlson that the whole issue of illegal immigration and ridiculously low sentences for their other crimes “has become political. Because it’s the very politicians who are elected into office who are not doing a dang thing about this, and they’re ignoring the American people crying for help.”
She added, “And they are stepping over dead American bodies on their rush to protect illegal alien criminals.” She finished with empathetic words for the loved ones of Mollie Tibbetts, expressing that she understood their pain.
Carlson told Mendoza he agreed with her and did not think she was overstating the situation at all. One famous example of a sentence perhaps not fitting the crime is found in the case of Katie Steinle. The illegal alien who killed her was given probation.

But there are other, and equally appalling examples. As Mendoza asked on Carlson’s show, “Is this what an American life is worth to our politicians and to our fellow Americans who don’t understand this disgusting narrative that is happening in our country?”

The left may continue to be flippant in their remarks about Americans killed by illegal aliens. However, one judge has done something about the low sentences they so often get for their crimes.
An Illinois judge gave a confessed beater and rapist of three women the maximum sentence of 80 years in prison. This was due in part to the fact that the man was also an illegal alien who was ordered deported but wasn’t, thereby enabling him to roam free and assault those women.
