Ilhan Omar Shares Scathing Tweet Inciting Violence Against Rand Paul

Share

Last week, Sen. Rand Paul expressed his displeasure with Rep. Ilhan Omar’s critical remarks about America by offering to purchase a flight so she could visit her native Somalia.

Omar, one-fourth of the notorious “squad” comprising freshman congresswomen of color, responded Monday via Twitter with a washed-up actor’s tweet, the Washington Examiner reported.

Tom Arnold, who’s more like a park statue than an entertainer these days, wrote: “Imagine being Rand Paul’s next door neighbor and having to deal with @RandPaul lying cowardly circular whiney bullcrap about lawn clippings. No wonder he ripped his toupee off.”

The actor was alluding to Rene Boucher, a neighbor of Paul’s who in 2017 assaulted the Kentucky lawmaker because of a dispute about their lawns, according to the Examiner. That ambush resulted in the senator sustaining a bruised lung and broken ribs — not exactly a wellspring for jokes.

With that particular tweet, Arnold was also reacting to Intercept contributor Mehdi Hasan, who wrote that the Kentucky lawmaker’s remarks about Omar had given the wrong impression.

Hasan inexplicably asserted via Twitter that “Omar has visited Somalia more than Paul has – & knows far more about it.”

For bad measure, Hasan added that Paul’s father, Ron, “published a white nationalist news letter” — as an ultimate deflection from the actual subject at hand.

Mind you, Paul had simply said of Omar, “After she’s visited Somalia, she might come back and appreciate America more.” That statement shouldn’t be confused with the crime of the decade.

Omar’s passive-aggressive retweet of Arnold’s fatuous tweet reflects how leftists deal with the frowned-upon habit of Republicans calling out radical Democrats.

Do you think it was foolish of Ilhan Omar to retweet Arnold's remarks?

As has been made lucid by those on the left, including MSNBC personalities, acting reasonable is no longer an option as the 2020 election approaches.

Whether relying on Omar retweeting wisecracks about serious injuries or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez‘s exaggerated claims and damp-eyed theatrics, Democrats’ nonsense is in full swing.
