Kimmel Falls Apart, Melts Down in Tears About "Mentally Ill" Trump

Share

Leftist nutcase and late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, along with many of his other liberal buddies, took the Florida high school shooting as an opportunity to call for more gun control.

During his opening monologue on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday, Kimmel had a complete meltdown and called President Donald Trump “mentally ill” while discussing the mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Wednesday.

As noted by Breitbart, Kimmel demanded more gun “laws, real laws,” but failed to describe how any law would have prevented the tragic shooting.

Police have identified Nikolas Cruz as the shooter responsible for carrying out the mass shooting. The clearly disturbed 19-year-old killed 17 people and injured many more.

After referring to Republicans as “allegedly Christian men and women who stuff their pockets with money from the NRA,” Kimmel turned his attention to Trump by saying it’s the president who is “mentally ill” for not restricting all American’s gun rights over Cruz’s sick actions.

“Tell these congressmen and lobbyists who infest that swamp you said you were going to drain, force these allegedly Christian men and women who stuff their pockets with money from the NRA year after year after year to do something,” Kimmel said.

He added, “Now, not later. Now. And don’t you dare let anyone say it’s too soon to be talking about it, because you said it after Vegas, you said it after Sandy Hook, you say that after every one of these eight now fatal school shootings we had in this country this year. Children are being murdered.”

Watch his remarks below, with his meltdown over Trump coming around the 2:15 mark in the video.

Do you think mental health is the issue?

While Kimmel likes to act as if he has the moral high-ground, he failed to mention how Trump’s statement from the White House called for action to prevent these tragedies.

“We must also work together to create a culture in our country that embraces the dignity of life, that creates deep and meaningful human connections, and that turns classmates and colleagues into friends and neighbors,” Trump said, according to the White House.

Trump said his administration is working with local authorities to “investigate the shooting and learn everything we can” about how to best move forward.

He said, “We are committed to working with state and local leaders to help secure our schools, and tackle the difficult issue of mental health.”

Those are real ideas and offer specific actions being taken to identify why Cruz carried out his sick attack and how lawmakers can best move forward to prevent another mass shooting.

Kimmel believes that makes Trump “mentally ill,” and wants wide-scale gun restrictions across the country because one potentially mentally ill psycho carried out an attack.

Politicizing a tragedy to push for massive gun control measures is what makes someone look mentally unfit, and Kimmel’s entire meltdown occurred on live television.

If anything, Kimmel’s unhinged, tearful freak-out makes him look far more mentally ill than anything Trump or Republicans have said or done.
