Mom Finds a Stranger's Note Next to Changing Table in Restroom and Immediately Snaps Photo

What would happen if we all made it a point to perform at least one random act of kindness every day? What kind of impact might we make?

An anonymous do-gooder has made it a point to do just that. She’s already blessed at least one other person with her thoughtfulness too.

Tiffany Daniels of Hermitage, Tennessee, was eating out at her local Chili’s restaurant when she took her daughter to the restroom for a diaper change.

Diaper changing is a pretty routine occurrence for a parent with young children, but this particular trip to the potty involved much more than Daniels anticipated.

“Once I opened the changing table this was there,” the mom wrote on Facebook in the group “Hip Hermitage,” referring to a note and a small gift someone else had left behind.

“Hey there, Mom!” the note begins. “We’ve all been there … ran out of wipes or even forgot them! If that’s you today, we hope this helps! Take what you need and leave the rest. Remember — you’re awesome!”

Daniels was touched by the stranger’s kindness. “Although I didn’t need them it warmed my heart to see this act of kindness. Very Hip! It made my day so I could only imagine how it could make another momma feel if she did need them at the time,” Daniels shared in her post.

“I was surprised when I saw it, but was happy to see someone doing a kind thing,” Daniels shared with Inside Edition. “I appreciated the gesture because it’s nice to see someone think about others.”

According to Inside Edition, she later learned that the kind soul who left the note and wipes doesn’t have children, which made the gesture even sweeter. “Us women have to stick together,” Daniels added.

“Every year for her birthday she does acts of kindness of every year, so for example if she’s 30 then she would do 30 things in a year,” Daniels told “Good Morning America,” though she didn’t reveal who the mystery woman is. “All you hear about is negative things in the world it’s nice to see positive things.”

Have you been on the receiving end of an act of kindness such as this one? How awesome would it be if we all made acts of kindness a birthday tradition?

Liftable, a section of The Western Journal, reached out to Tiffany Daniels for comment but has not received a response. We will update this article if and when we do.
