Puppy Bowl 2019: The Competition We Really Care About on Super Bowl Sunday

The big game is just days away! Yes, we mean the Puppy Bowl.

Now celebrating its 15th year of total cuteness, these puppies are ready to play and steal your heart, according to People magazine.

The 2019 Puppy Bowl will have dozens of puppies that have been brought in from shelters all over to play some football for fans all over the nation.

The puppies have come from as far as Puerto Rico and are making their TV appearance in the big game with the help of celebrities such a Lisa Vanderpump and Gus Kenworthy.

Not only are the puppies participating totally adorable, but they are also looking for a forever home from someone just like you.

These adoptable puppies will be divided into two teams — Team Ruff and Team Fluff. Who will you root for?



They will compete to take home the coveted Chewy.com “Lombarky” trophy while playing at the Geico stadium.

Will you watch the Puppy Bowl?

The puppy that gets the most touchdowns will also be honored with the Most Valuable Puppy award, so be sure to tune in to see if your favorite is named MVP of the game.

The game will again be officiated by none other than Dan Schachner, the “rufferee.”



He will be accompanied by co-ref Shirley — a rescue sloth from Costa Rica’s Toucan Rescue Ranch sanctuary that sure knows the rules of the game.

He will be joined on the sidelines with a team of other animals. Shirley will have capybaras, baby porcupines and baby kangaroos on hand to give her some help as they will all be making an appearance during Puppy Bowl XV.

Every puppy that plays in the Puppy Bowl has had a Wisdom Panel doggy DNA test to determine the breed of these cuddly dogs.



You’ll find that even more puppies are ready to play in the 2019 Puppy Bowl, all of which have never appeared in the game before.

The puppy action will take place Sunday, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PST on Animal Planet.

You’ll want to make sure that you tune in to see these adorable pups play for the rights of Puppy Bowl Champion.

This is one football game that is sure to delight fans, and a new addition could even join your home through adoption.

The Puppy Bowl has a100 percent adoption rate for these lovable pooches, making sure that after their TV debut, they go home with a loving family.
