Horrified as Satanist Little Girls Hid in School Bathroom To Butcher Smaller Children
One would have hoped that we, as a society, had enough of Satanism during the 1980s. Indeed, most of the crimes attributed to worship of the dark lord during that decade were more the result of a moral panic than they were of actual satanic malice.
Thirty years later, however, the worship of Mephistopheles seems to have actually motivated one of the more ghastly alleged crimes to pass over our desk of late.
According to WFTS-TV, two girls in a Florida middle school are accused of taking knives to school in order to kill their classmates and drink their blood — all, apparently, in the name of Satan.
The two Bartow Middle School students, in 6th and 7th grade, respectively, allegedly armed themselves with several implements. These included large knives, a pair of scissors and even a pizza cutter.
At 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Bartow Police School Resource Officer was summoned to the school in response to an armed juvenile call.
“Fortunately, they were intercepted by school staff hiding in a bathroom during class time prior to carrying out their plans,” the police said.
The two had planned to attack students throughout the day on Tuesday. According to Bartow, Florida police, a student the day before had warned teachers that “something bad” was set to happen.
“After one of the girl’s mother received a robo-call alerting her that her child was not in second period, she called the school to inform teachers that the child should be there,” WFTS reported.
This prompted a campus-wide search during which the girls were found in a bathroom, holding a goblet which was allegedly being used to imbibe alcohol. The girls later said they had planned to use the goblet to drink the blood of victims.
“Once in the principal’s office, the girls were told to empty their pockets, which revealed a knife and knife sharpener,” WFTS reported.
“After that, their bags were searched, and several weapons including a pizza cutter and butcher knife were found on the girls. The two admitted to planning to kill students as they entered the bathroom.”
“They noted that they wanted to kill at least 15 people and were waiting in the bathroom to find smaller kids that they could overpower to be their victims,” Bartow Police Chief Joe Hall told reporters.
“I believe that these two small children. I’m going to call them small children, they are only 11 and 12, seriously sat down and plotted to do bodily harm to another student at school.”
Police say that the girls exchanged text messages which revealed the extent of the plot.
“Today is health lessens thank Satan we’re doing this in a bit,” the final message read.
The girls also told police they had planned to eat the flesh of their victims and leave body parts at the entrance to the school before ending their own lives.
“Killing all of these students was in hopes it would make them worse sinners ensuring that after they committed suicide … (they) would go to hell so they could be with Satan,” an arrest affidavit read.
It’s probably accurate to preface this with a note that neither of these girls could be described as being in compos mentis, at least if one is to believe the details of the crime provided by police. However, that’s not to say that we shouldn’t be alarmed over the fact that this is yet more evidence of how far our society is drifting from Judeo-Christian ideals.
It’s no secret that most humans have a void and that the void needs to be filled with something. Secularists have always believed it would be filled with something decidedly humanistic — all of the highest ideals of the better angels of our nature without any of what they perceived of as the baggage of religious belief.
That sort of optimism has proved itself unwarranted; when the void hasn’t been replaced by the more venal aspects of our humanity, it’s been replaced by a perverse (or perverted) spiritualism. Perhaps most distressingly, the cultural left has of late embraced instead of deflected from this; consider the fact that witchcraft in the service of The Resistance™ is now receiving more than faint praise in the media.
It’s also no secret that children emulate both the best and the worst aspects of what they see from the adult world. If you think that our secular drift hasn’t had an influence on our values, look at this alleged crime and ask yourself whether or not you would have seen anything this abominable or sacrilegious a half a century ago.
