Texas Mom Catches Son Joyriding, Gives Him Roadside Whooping

Share

A teen’s joyride in his mom’s BMW came to an early end after his mom found him and gave him a much-deserved spanking. Thankfully, his sister was there to record the whole thing.

Liza Martinez and her daughter, Liza Campero, were on the hunt after finding out that her 14-year-old son had taken her BMW for a joyride, according to KHOU-TV.

The joyriding teen picked up his friend, but his friend’s mom spilled the beans, which prompted the search and subsequent whooping.

“I just found him,” the mother can be heard saying in the video after seeing her BMW on the road.

“Pull over now!” she yelled angrily at her son out the window after honking the horn.

After pulling over, Martinez asked her daughter for the belt and walked to her BMW.

As soon as she reached the car, the mother didn’t hesitate to start spanking her child.

As cars drove by on the rainy day, the mother delivered sweet justice to her teenage son while her daughter recorded the humorous spectacle.

Did this mom do the right thing?

Later, the daughter explained that she was happy to hand over the belt and see the deserved punishment.

“I’m sure y’all understand being the oldest and growing up a certain way and seeing the youngest being brought up totally differently,” she explained. “So handing that belt over was like a pleasure, a rite of passage.”

Twitter users seem to agree with the mother’s punishment.

“Totally agree with the mom. It’s the complete lack of discipline that lets kids believe they can do whatever. She would have gotten grief if he killed someone or himself through stupidity,” one user wrote.

“Discipline at its finest,” wrote another.

It’s certainly a good thing that the mom was able to find her son before anybody got hurt.

It’s also a good thing that this issue was solved with parenting rather than getting the police involved. The kid could’ve received some time behind bars for his stupid decision.

“I feel that I have a debt to society and my society is to make sure my children are productive, law-abiding citizens,” the mother said.

I doubt the kid will ever try to pull a stunt like that again.
