88-Yr-Old Justin Timberlake Fan Starstruck When She Comes Face to Face with Him

Share

You might recall a viral video from Easter this year of a grandmother receiving concert tickets in her Easter basket.

Bette Maloney, or “Nammie” to her grandkids, loves Justin Timberlake. Her granddaughter, Sarah Watson, told Fox 35 that every time she has to fix her grandmother’s iPad, it’s because she has too many windows open showing Justin Timberlake.

On Easter, Maloney’s family surprised her with tickets to Timberlake’s upcoming concert in Orlando, Florida and the 88-year-old was in complete shock.

“I’ve been trying to figure out how to save money to go. I won the lotto the other night and got $65,” she said in the video.

In an interview later, she added, “I think he’s a very, very nice young man and he’s so talent(ed). He writes, sings, dances, acts, performs. And he’s married and has a baby. He seems to be pretty settled.”

But Maloney’s Justin Timberlake story does not end there. The family went to the concert on May 14, and the elderly woman got to meet the pop star before his show.

“She was so excited,” Maloney’s daughter Beth Watson told TODAY. “She did have a few things to say planned, and she brought Justin’s son a gift to give to him.”

Maloney even asked Timberlake if his wife, Jessica Biel, would mind if Maloney gave him a kiss on the cheek!

“She couldn’t stop looking at him, and told him he was even cuter in person,” Watson said.

“It was not surprising at all to see how kind and gracious he was,” Watson said. “The biggest surprise of the night was the shoutout to Nammie from the stage!”

During his show, Timberlake called out Nammie Maloney and said, “Wherever you are in the audience tonight, I love you!”

Maloney’s expression says it all. Of course, who wouldn’t like Timberlake to tell them he loves them?
