Bill Maher Makes Outrageous Accusation About Trump 'Partnering' with Bomber

Share

On Friday night, HBO host Bill Maher said that it “sounds like” President Donald Trump is partnering with the bomber who sent a series of explosive devices to prominent Democrats.

Cesar Sayoc, a Florida man suspected of sending the packages to high-profile Democrats, was arrested on Friday.

“These terrorizing acts are despicable and have no place in our country,” Trump said when speaking about the arrest.

“I am pleased to inform you that law enforcement has apprehended the suspect and taken him into custody,” Trump added in the Twitter caption.

Did Bill Maher go to far?

It seems like Trump and federal officials have done everything they could do to ensure the man was arrested in a timely manner.

However, Maher had a different take on his show Friday night.

“I think what I saw this week is the President of the United States using a domestic terrorist attack to threaten the American media,” Maher said.

Maher went on to read one of Trump’s tweets and claimed that he failed to condemn the bomber.

“That sounds like he’s not condemning the bomber, it sounds to me like he’s partnering with him,” Maher said in reference to the Trump tweet.

Maher failed to mention that Trump did condemn the attack and made multiple statements before he mentioned the media’s inaccurate reporting.

A day prior, Trump tweeted in agreement with Vice President Mike Pence’s Twitter statement.

“We condemn the attempted attacks against fmr Pres Obama, the Clintons, (CNN) & others. These cowardly actions are despicable & have no place in this Country. Grateful for swift response of (the Secret Service), (FBI) & local law enforcement. Those responsible will be brought to justice,” Pence wrote.

Trump also made an official statement where he called for unity.

“In these times, we have to unify, we have to come together, and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the United States of America.”

After condemning the bomber multiple times, conducting a swift investigation and arresting the bomber, the left will still pretend to believe conservatives support the bomber.

The left always tries to attach a few radicals to conservatives while ignoring violence from the left.

Whether it be punching Republican candidates or shooting Republican lawmakers at baseball practice, the left has plenty of crazed lunatics.

How many Democratic politicians have condemned every act of violence from antifa? In contrast to the left, Republicans condemn violence and violent rhetoric.

It’s outrageous of Maher to suggest that Trump is partnering with the bomber while the left barely addresses violent left-wing radicals.
