'The Rock' Has Message For All Parents after 2-Yr-Old Daughter Ends Up in Emergency Room

Share

In his movies, actor and semi-retired professional wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson often plays the hero.

But after spending his weekend in the emergency room with his 2-year-old daughter Jasmine, Johnson is thanking the real-life heroes who helped his family through her medical crisis.

Johnson, who often posts post-workout videos for his social media followers, decided to dedicate one particular video to send out an important message to parents.

“‘Things got a lil’ hairy this weekend. Thank you LAFD first responders & UCLA medical team,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Something happened to my family that I would never want to happen to any of you guys out there.”

Although he did not reveal what happened, the star went on to explain that Jasmine was doing well now, but that those moments had been some of the scariest of his life.

“We were up all night in the emergency room. We had something scary that happened with our little baby girl Jasmine.

“She’s okay now, thank God. But I just wanna say thank you so much to everybody who was involved, so caring and compassionate and responsive,” he said.

Johnson made sure to thanks the paramedics, local fire and police departments and medical staff that were there for his family that night.

‘”The 911 operator who was on the phone with me, who was extremely calm, walking me through some processes, the Los Angeles Fire Department first responders, UCLA medical team and staff, the doctors, the nurses. Again, everybody, thank you guys so, so much.”

“We’re grateful to you all and if you ever need anything, I got your back.”

But towards the end of the video, the actor had a few words of wisdom for any parents watching.

“To all you mommies and daddies out there – you know, when emergencies like this happen, I would just highly recommend that you stay as calm and as focused as possible, because our little babies, energetically, they pick up on what we’re putting out, especially in times of stress.”
