Watch Good Dog Wait Patiently as Cockatiel Sits on His Paw

Share

When a friendship between two different animals emerges, it can pull at your heartstrings. It seems that if they can find love despite their differences, then most anyone can as well.

Dogs have an uncanny ability to love unconditionally, no matter if it is their owner or a bird of another feather.

For one dog, Bella, her love extended beyond the norm and showed how gentle and caring furry friends can be to others even if they are not from the same species.

Bella is a Samoyed. She is snow white with graceful features that just accents the way she treats others.

Coaxed by her owner, Bella, waited in anticipation to get close to another member of the family – a bird that seemed to be almost from the same bloodline, according to a video posted by Pretty 52.

Also, all white in appearance, the cockatiel accepted Bella in the most unconventional ways.

Bella waited patiently as her owner lifted the little songbird onto her paws.

Bella was as delighted with the opportunity to hold the bird as she was to be close to her as well.

Would you trust your dog to hold a bird?

Gently and carefully, Bella outstretched her paw and waited for her owner to bring the bird close.

In time, the cockatiel felt comfortable enough to jump to Bella’s outstretched paw.

Bella couldn’t have been prouder as she sat as still as the wind on a warm summer night.

She allowed the cockatiel to rest comfortably in her furry paws.

The bird let out a sweet tweet and trusted in Bella to hold her without fail or threat.

Bella proved her worth and let the cockatiel sit as long as she liked.

The two were friends in an instant, showing that love knows no boundaries.

When a big dog like Bella can reach out to a cockatiel, it shows that just about anyone can establish some trust and become friends.

Bella and this bird are sure to be friends for a long time.
