Weeks Before Royal Wedding, Meghan Markle Is Losing Sleep Over 1 Detail of Day She Says ‘I Do’
It seems like just yesterday Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were announcing their engagement. Now, with just weeks until the wedding, it’s hard to believe how quickly everything seems to be falling into place.
The venue has been chosen and the invitations have been sent — but just who is on the list?
Rumor has it that quite a few members of Markle’s family have not been invited to attend the wedding.
But even without a golden ticket to the celebration, some members are still pushing to be a part of the day.
Markle’s half-sister Samantha Grant, her nephew Tyler Dooley and his mother Tracy will all be journeying to London in May — despite not being invited — to be “TV wedding correspondents.”
When Harry and Markle were interviewed after their engament, Harry was excited to welcome his bride-to-be into his family, explaining that it was something “she never had” in her own life.
Offended relatives of the future royal immediately spoke with the media in an attempt to shut down rumors about her rocky family life.
But as the wedding draws near, Markle is reportedly losing sleep worrying about many of her relatives who haven’t been there for her in the past, and feels it is difficult to trust new people she meets.
“She’s lost sleep over relatives who’ve screwed her over,” a source explained. “It’s the one thing she’s struggled with most since meeting Harry, especially after the engagement.”
Markle’s half-sister also explained to the media how her royal romance has “created rifts between” members of the family.
“Meghan is really worried about some these members of her family,” another source said. “She hasn’t spoken to them in years.”
At the same time, we are sure the former actress is prepared to take on any responsibility that may come with becoming a royal, including the occasional uncomfortable situation.
For now, reports say Markle is doing her best not to get stressed and is trying to avoid any drama her family may be trying to cause.
