Carrie Underwood Releases Rare Photo of Son to Fans
To vocalist Carrie Underwood and her hockey-playing husband Mike Fisher, keeping their young son’s life private seems to be a priority. Three-year-old Isaiah is rarely seen on his parents’ social media pages.
When a photo of Isaiah does show up, his face is mostly hidden, if not entirely turned away from the camera. Fans eager for a portrait view have to settle with the back of the boy’s head or a partial section of his face.
But a quick scroll through Fisher’s social media feed reveals his heart for the people and places he cherishes most in life. He regularly compliments his wife online, and often mentions what a kindhearted mother she is for their boy.
Fans were excited when Fisher gave fans a glimpse into his personal life on March 20 with an adorable father-son photo. The pair had gone fishing, and Isaiah hooked himself a prize.
“Day off= fishing with Izzy!” Fisher wrote. “Little man got this one with his first cast today and reeled it in himself.”
It’s no secret that when he’s not playing hockey, Fisher is an outdoor aficionado. He regularly posts photos of hunting and fishing trips, including a Dec. photo of himself holding up a catch of his own.
Wearing a proud grin, Fisher offered up some fatherly advice. “Daddy day care tip #1: always go to the playground next to the pond,” the father wrote.
While Isaiah’s face was nowhere to be seen, he certainly must have been nearby! The aspiring fisherman isn’t the only member of the family who has a mostly hidden face on social media these days.
Underwood has still kept her own portrait more or less private since receiving stitches in her face after a nasty fall last year. Of the images she has revealed, the lower half of her face is always covered or turned to the side, which the singer said is how things will be until she’s ready to be in front of a camera again.
In February, Underwood posted a cute shot of a workout session in the gym with Isaiah squatting by her side. Working out with a toddler may not be the most efficient activity ever, but it’s better than no workout at all.
“My boys make work outs fun,” the singer wrote. She jokingly added, “(and a bit less productive, but that’s ok)!”
It’s good to see Underwood and her two most important guys doing so well.
