Democrat Chair Accidentally Mimics Own Party, Spent Hours Stuck on Toilet Seat

Share

There are few situations more embarrassing or anxiety-inducing than when something goes critically wrong in the bathroom.

Whether it’s clogged toilets, doors that won’t open when you’re trapped inside, or no toilet paper in the stall, it’s a scary situation.

Alabama Democrat chairwoman Nancy Worley faced with a similar a situation in 2014 when she found herself stuck and unable to get off the toilet seat for hours, due to faulty knees.

After her ordeal, which was not the only one she experienced that year, Worley decided to share her experiences with the entire Alabama Democrat mailing list through a letter.

Let’s just say it’s pretty cringe-worthy. I think we can all agree those kind of stories are best kept out of the public spotlight.

However, as someone pointed out to AL.com’s Kyle Whitmore, it’s a great illustration of the state of the Democrat party today: The party stuck on a toilet seat, that just can’t get up.

“It’s the perfect analogy for where the state party is today,” Whitmore’s friend, who was not identified, said. “Stuck on the toilet and it can’t get up.”

You can take a look Worley’s letter in full below: (The toilet story can be found in paragraph four.)

Now, I don’t know what she was thinking by inserting the story into her letter, but she certainly didn’t understand why people made a big fuss about it!

“Quite frankly, if someone cares about one minute detail in a letter, then they must not have anything interesting going on,” she said, according to AL.com.

By the way — statements like that are commonplace in politics — and they’re not legitimate arguments. She essentially said: “If you care about what I say in my letters, you’re lame.”

Nothing like a good bit of ad hominem to brighten a leftist’s day.

According to Whitmore, this isn’t the first time she’s said something bizarre in that letter. A few years ago she reportedly claimed that her office was bugged.

Apparently she believes herself important enough to be bugged but not important enough to be taken seriously when she says something dumb.

It’s amazing this woman is still the head of the Alabama Democrat party — but it does help explain the state of the Democrat Party: stuck on a toilet.
