Somali Immigrant Arrested After Sexually Assaulting Woman in Labor
A Somali immigrant was arrested in Italy after he barged into a hospital and attempted to rape a woman who was fully in labor.
According to Quotidiano Libero, 38-year-old Ali Abdella stole a nurse’s outfit from a warehouse in order that he could go unnoticed in the hospital.
On Dec. 31, the immigrant entered Sant’Eugenio hospital in Rome and went into a delivery room.
What happened next is absolutely horrifying.
According to La Stampa, Abdella groped the woman before pleasuring himself in front of her.
Thankfully, two nurses and a doctor heard the woman screaming and alerted the police.
The police quickly showed up to arrest Abdella.
He is charged with aggravated sexual violence and theft.
Abdella has lived in Italy for the past 5 years and does have a residence permit, according to pupia.tv
However, this is not Abdella’s first run in with the law. He has other several police records, although no word on what those are.
It is not only disgusting, but evil that someone would even think of doing so grotesque.
Sexual assault is never OK but targeting a woman in labor is just unthinkable.
Hopefully this woman is now enjoying life with her child and will be able to move on from the nightmarish scene that took place in her delivery room.
As for Abdella – he deserves a harsh punishment for his crime.
