NFL Star Blasts Hollywood Actress' Pro-Abortion CNN Appearance: 'IGNORANCE, RACISM'

Share

Benjamin Watson, a two-time New England Patriot and staunch pro-life advocate, won a Super Bowl championship in his first stint with the Patriots in 2005.

The 38-year-old tight end probably deserves another championship after his vicious dunk on actress and activist Alyssa Milano on social media.

Milano, whose acting career has been rather lackluster since the WB series “Charmed” ended in 2006, has filled that void in her life by being a political mouthpiece.

She has lobbied for far-left policies on immigration and abortion on social media and in person.

But it’s her latest crusade for abortion that has drawn the ire of Watson.

Milano appeared on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time” last week to discuss with host Chris Cuomo legislation in Georgia and Alabama limiting abortion rights.

“Nobody wants to get an abortion. Nobody,” she said. “We are all pro-life. But there are circumstances that we cannot avoid.”

It was a comment Milano made about women of color that set Watson off.

“This will affect the communities of color, more than anything,” Milano said. “I feel like any woman of privilege, that lives in one of these states, if this goes through, they’re going to be able to travel to a state to get safe reproductive health care.”

Nice euphemism for abortion there.

“For the women of color, for the women that are marginalized, for the women that [live in] low-income communities, for the women that are most at-risk, these bills are going to be catastrophic,” Milano said.

Do you agree with Benjamin Watson?

That was the last straw for Watson, who excoriated Milano’s remarks in a tweet Sunday.

“@Alyssa_Milano to claim that giving MORE children of color the right to be born will negatively affect ‘women of color’ reveals IGNORANCE, RACISM or some combination of both,” he said. “Our children and families are capable of greatness and lies like this harm our future. Dont patronize us.”

That, as the kids would say, is straight fire from Watson.

The former Super Bowl champion has never had issues with calling out the misleading narratives about abortion that are often peddled by far leftists.

In early May, Watson blasted Democratic U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.

In 2017, he described abortion as the “ultimate form of racism.”

Watson has spoken out against it at the March for Life and the Conservative Political Action Conference.

It may be the en vogue thing to do to hate the Patriots, but it’s hard not to root for a classy guy like Ben Watson.
