Woman Unharmed After 4-Foot Beam Crashes Through Windshield, Inches from Killing Her

Share

An incredible miracle has occurred in Utah after one woman came within inches of losing her life. Nicci Sanders was driving north on the I-15 when the unthinkable happened.

We often watch from the sidelines as we drive past horrific car accidents, but we never expect these things to happen to us.

But it did happen to Sanders. When a 4-foot-long metal beam crashed straight through her front windshield, she could have been gone within the blink of an eye.

Amazingly, Sanders came away from the incident shaken and covered in glass, but otherwise completely unharmed.

Jordan Snow, the driver behind Sanders, witnessed the entire ordeal. “When I first saw that beam go through her window the first thought that I had was that she was dead,” Snow told Liftable, a section of The Western Journal.

“I had just watched someone’s loved one lose their life so when I pulled over and was running up to her car I said a silent prayer asking God to not only watch over her but to help me know what to do.”

Sanders did speak with KUTV‘s Jim Spiewak on the phone. According to the reporter, Sanders admitted she thought at that moment that she was going to die.

“I wish I could call and thank everyone personally for your thoughts,” Sanders shared on Facebook. “I feel cared for and very blessed.”

Do you believe in modern-day miracles?

She went on to urge everyone to “be safe” on the road. According to KUTV, the metal beam fell from the truck of a roofing company. The driver has been cited for not securing their cargo properly.

As for Snow, he sees this incident as nothing short of “tender mercy.” “If you don’t believe in God,” Snow wrote on Facebook, “what I am going to say is proof that he watches out for each if us.”

“I hope people will take away something and know that God is real,” Snow told Liftable, “and blessings do happen and that angels can be there in forms of other people to help and always try and strive to help someone or do some good in the world every day even if you’re helping a complete stranger.”

For Snow, 13 years ago his life was changed when his grandfather passed away before his eyes while deer hunting. “My little brother performed CPR on him not knowing he had just had a massive heart attack and there was nothing we could do to save his life,” he told Liftable.

“And from that day on I strived to be as my grandfather was and always care for and look after others as if they were family.”

After witnessing what happened to Sanders, Snow truly believes he was placed at that moment for a reason. “I had the most overwhelming feeling of pure love and appreciation for this woman whom I had never met and that my job was to help her calm down and comfort her so I held her hand till authorities got there.”

“God is real and what happened to Nicci was true divine intervention and she was being looked out for.”
