Dear Daughter, Wipe Your Tears & Lift Your Head. That Is Where You Will See Me.

Share

Dear daughter,

I know the world seems as though it’s crashing down on you. Your problems seem too heavy to carry.

I see you, dear daughter. I see your hurt, I see your tears, I see your struggles.

Know that I am here. Know that you have been created for great things. Know that I have never left your side.

Do you remember the story of Joseph?

He was loved by his father but sold by his brothers. They hated him, were jealous of him and never spoke a kind word to him (Genesis 37).

But Joseph remained faithful and saved a nation from starvation.

You, my child, were chosen. You were meant for more than the makeup on your face, the style of your hair and the shoes on your feet.

I have counted you, just as I counted the stars. Your life has a plan and a purpose far greater than you can see (Psalm 147:4).

Esther 4:14

Faith, my dear daughter. No matter what lies ahead, I am already there.

Know that when you cry alone in your room, I see you. Know that when you sit alone at lunch, I’m right next to you. Know that when you’re lost, I’m there to guide you (Psalm 119:105).

In good times and in bad, I am with you every step. Your trials will be your testimony.

I have blessed you with great gifts. With grace, with love. And I have called you to share those blessings, just as I have shared them with you.

You were not an accident, my child. You are worth more than your fears or failures, more than your gains or successes.

Stop comparing yourself to those around you. They do not hold your worth, only I do.

Lift your head, dear daughter. That is where you will see me.

Lift your head, dear daughter. That is where you will hear me.

Lift your head, dear daughter. That is where you will know me.

And when you do, I will already be there waiting.
