Dentist Makes Hilarious Lip-Syncing Videos with Patients While in Exam Chair

Share

Okay, let’s face it, no one really likes going to the dentist. It’s just one of those things that we have to do twice a year to stay healthy.

But what if there were a dentist office that was fun? Well, check our Dr. Patricia London in Concord, North Carolina.

You might just change your mind about the level of fun available at the dentist’s office. If you’re into karaoke, this is the place for you!

About a year ago co-worker Tracy Driver came up with an idea. She wanted something to add a little bit of fun to the dentist office.

Driver came up with the name “Monday Bites” for a series of videos she began to make along with willing patients. In the videos, patients lip-synced along with staff and were seen getting funky with dance moves.

The videos were hilarious and Driver decided to post them on Dr. London’s Facebook page. The response was overwhelming.

Driver had worked for Dr. London for more than twenty years, but they were more than co-workers. Driver and Dr. London are sisters.

When the videos were first posted, the sisters were amazed by the 10,000 likes they received.

“The next morning it was a million and then we sat there and watched it go from 2 million to 3 million,” said Dr. London. But the silly videos soon went viral, reaching more than 25 million views.

You can’t watch them with out at least cracking a smile. From Tina Turner and Rolling on the River to Fifth Harmony’s Worth It, there’s something for everyone.

When the giant tooth brush was brought out, the videos went over the top! Some of the videos included props while others concentrated on dance moves.

What’s really amazing is that the patients are both young and old.

The videos also generated comments on the Facebook page. “We’ve had comments from Peru, Germany, Greece. It’s just crazy,” Driver said.

The goal was to show people that the dentist can be fun, but they turned out to be much more.

One comment was from a mother suffering from depression after the loss of her son. She thanked them for bringing laughter back into her life.

Keep doing what you’re doing, ladies! It’s making everyone’s day just a little brighter.
