NBA player's brother shot multiple times in 'targeted attack'
What should have been one of the greatest weeks in Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard’s life quickly turned into one of the worst.
Hours after the All-Star’s girlfriend gave birth to his first son, Lillard’s half-brother was shot in what police believe was a “targeted attack,” according to TMZ.

Sgt. Brian Jensen of the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said Jahrell Lillard was shot multiple times by two men on Thursday night, according to KPTV.
Fortunately, he was able to escape the fight, stagger into a Macy’s and collapse just inside the store.
After undergoing surgery, he is now in stable condition and “doing fine,” Damian told The Oregonian.
TMZ reported that officials have surveillance video of the attack, and are looking for two adult black males who they believe were the perpetrators.
The sheriff’s office added that several vehicles were hit by gunfire, yet there is no current threat to the public.
Authorities have asked people to avoid the area.
On the court Tuesday, Damian dropped 41 points on the New Orleans Pelicans in a critical win, then saw a text from his girlfriend after the win saying that she was going into labor.
He quickly got on a plane and arrived home just in time to see the birth of his child.

Damian missed the Blazers’ next game, a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, but returned on Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Lillard scored 17 points, as Portland defeated the Clippers.
The Trail Blazers are currently the third seed in the Western Conference, three games ahead of the San Antonio Spurs.
The postseason is important, but Lillard would surely say it’s nothing compared to what he’s been through this week.
