Devastated Parents Kissed Their Dying Daughter Goodbye, Seconds Later A Miracle Occurred
When Lee and Francesca Williams were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, they couldn’t have been more thrilled!
However, when their little baby, Bella, began losing her hair at eighteen weeks, they began to worry.
After returning from a vacation where she appeared to be getting worse, they found out that their daughter was suffering from biotinidase deficiency, a rare condition that affects cell growth, and was now in critical condition.
Bella was placed on life support in a children’s hospital in England; but within weeks of her admission, the parents had to make the brave decision to take her off life support and sign a “do not resuscitate” agreement.
The family then gathered around her hospital bed and said their final goodbyes. They held her hand and gave her kisses, then turned off the ventilator.
As the devastated family stood in her room waiting for her to pass, they witnessed a miracle.
“I was holding her hand knowing there was going to be a little last breath,” Lee said. “I could feel her hand dropping and it went down, but then she started gripping my finger.”
Within thirty minutes, the child began kicking and screaming, literally fighting for her life. Ignoring the “do not resuscitate” order, the doctors did all they could to keep the child alive.
Miraculously, little Bella pulled through, defying all the odds. Biotinidase deficiency can be fatal if left untreated; however, with proper care and medication, Bella is able to have a happy, healthy, and normal life.
It has been five months since Bella and her family went through this trauma, and she is now healthy and doing well!
